AI Awards Ireland Winner: Best Use of AI in a Sector

Today we attended the AI Ireland Awards and won for our category — Best Use of AI in a Sector — for the use of our voice technology in PreK-12 education.
One of the many applications of voice technology for kids is in the classroom, to support them on their reading journey, starting with phonics and all the way to fluency.

We also recently announced our selection as the early literacy screener tool, as part of the Reach Every Reader project being rolled out across the US.
The team at SoapBox Labs are delighted with this AI Ireland award, the recognition it brings, and the heavyweight trophy, which will adorn our office!

Earlier this year we partnered with Cathriona Hallahan and Microsoft on a kids’ voice technology for literacy project. Celebrating this award together is the perfect way to bring this great year (almost!) to a close.
